Direct Mail Campaign

Farmers Insurance Group CU wanted to cross-sell their varied financial services to their members, realizing that most people used a Credit Union only for low interest auto loans.

We came up with a year long raffle themed "See & Compare". A fun sunglasses motif was used to symbolize the three main prizes, a cruise to Alaska, a trip to Hawaii and a trip to New Orleans for the Super Bowl. Numerous smaller prizes were awarded monthly.

Each member automatically got one chance, and additional chances were given to each member who signed up for a new Credit Union service. Two chances for a opening a checking account, ten for a mortgage loan. Since this was an ongoing campaign, members could sign up throughout the year as needed and still have a chance for prizes.

This greatly increased member awareness of sevices and increased overall usage by a large percentage.

With the success of the "See and Compare" Direct Mail Campaign, the client decided to extend the campaign to specific products and services. This is the Mortgage mailer. Note the glasses case serves as a return mail envelope.
